What They're Looking For.
Must Have
Master's degree in Mathematics or related field, 5+ years of teaching experience in mathematics, Experience with coaching or mentoring teachers, Knowledge of curriculum development and implementation, Experience with data analysis for instructional decisions, Experience with technology integration in instruction, Experience with Blended Learning, Experience with T-TESS
Nice to Have
Experience with Title I campuses, Experience facilitating PLCs, Experience with graphing calculator technology, Experience with manipulatives
What You'll Do.
Provide instructional support to math teachers
Coach teachers on curriculum implementation
Model instructional planning
Support instructional planning with technology integration
Implement Blended Learning
Collaborate with leaders on job embedded learning
Provide ongoing instructional support to math teachers
Disaggregate data for instructional decisions
Develop teacher capacity to utilize data
Support implementation of graphing calculator technology
Support conceptual development of mathematics
Support student ownership of learning
Facilitate PLC development
Provide individual and group coaching
Support implementation of written curriculum
Create T-TESS goals with teachers
Provide job embedded supports for T-TESS goals
Promote best practices in instruction
Co-teach with teachers
Develop professional development for math teachers
Facilitate guided teacher observations
Attend district level meetings
Attend intervention sessions
Attend math content knowledge development sessions
Attend professional learning events
Participate in guided coach observations
Maintain instructional coach services reporting
Create schedule of coaching activities
Create schedule of professional learning opportunities
Create schedule of professional growth requirements
Provide informal feedback to math teachers
Research best practices for math instruction
Support implementation of math instructional resources
Support induction of new math teachers
Support mentoring of new math teachers
Build PLC capacity to support new teachers
Submit documentation for Comprehensive Needs Assessment
