What JobsGlitch is

JobsGlitch is a job matching platform for tech workers. It lets you upload a resume, see a match score against job listings, and practice interviews with AI. It is not a recruiting agency, staffing firm, or employer. We do not place candidates in jobs and we do not represent employers.

Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old to use JobsGlitch. By creating an account you confirm that you meet this requirement.

Your account

• —You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials.
• —You must provide accurate information when creating your account.
• —You may not create accounts on behalf of others without their consent.
• —You may not use the platform for automated scraping or data harvesting.

Your content

When you upload a resume, you grant JobsGlitch a limited licence to process its contents for the purpose of matching you with job listings and personalising your experience. You retain ownership of your resume. We do not share it with third parties.

You can delete your resume and account at any time. See the Privacy Policy for deletion details.

Job listings

Job listings on JobsGlitch are sourced from public job boards and company career pages. We do not verify the accuracy of job descriptions, salary ranges, or company information. Always verify details directly with the employer before applying. JobsGlitch is not responsible for the content of external job postings.

Match scores

The "Glitch Score" is an algorithmic estimate of how well your resume matches a job description. It is a tool to help prioritise your search — not a guarantee of interview selection or employment. Hiring decisions are made by employers, not by this platform.

AI features

Interview practice and career advice features are powered by AI language models. Responses are generated automatically and may contain errors or omissions. Do not treat AI feedback as professional career advice. Use your own judgement before acting on any AI-generated content.

Acceptable use

You agree not to:

• —Attempt to reverse-engineer, scrape, or extract data from the platform at scale
• —Use the platform to harass, spam, or deceive other users or employers
• —Upload content that is illegal, harmful, or infringes third-party rights
• —Attempt to circumvent security measures or access other users' data

Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms, engage in abusive behaviour, or use the platform in ways that damage other users or the service. You may delete your account at any time from account settings.

Limitation of liability

JobsGlitch is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We are not liable for job search outcomes, missed opportunities, decisions made based on match scores or AI advice, or any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from use of the platform. Our total liability is limited to the amount you have paid us in the past 12 months (which is zero for free accounts).

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. We will notify users of material changes by email. Continued use of the platform after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
