This role goes beyond basic editing — you must have a mindset centered on **storytelling, pacing, and maintaining audience engagement**. **Requirements** ### 🎥 Responsibilities * Edit **long-form YouTube videos (8–20 minutes)** with a strong focus on storytelling * Organize videos to ensure: * Compelling hooks within the first 10–20 seconds * Seamless flow and pacing * High viewer retention * Incorporate: * Motion graphics, zoom effects, cuts, and memes where appropriate * B-roll footage, sound effects, and music to enhance engagement * Collaborate with creators and founders to **transform ideas into captivating narratives** * Optionally, repurpose long-form content into **short-form videos (preferred)** * Regularly refine edits based on **audience retention and overall performance** ### 🧠 Qualifications * 1 to 4 years of experience in **YouTube video editing** * Deep understanding of: * YouTube storytelling formats * Viewer retention, pacing, and audience psychology * Proficient in: * Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects, and Final Cut Pro * Experience collaborating with: * YouTubers, creators, and content teams ### ⚡ Essential Skills * Ability to: * Create **engaging, hook-driven intros** * Maintain **viewer interest throughout the video** * Strong aptitude for: * Timing, cutting, and visual storytelling * Capability to elevate **average footage into high-quality content** ### 🎯 Additional Advantages * Experience editing for: * Educational, technology, finance, or storytelling channels * Knowledge of: * YouTube analytics such as click-through rates and retention graphs * Basic understanding of: * Aligning thumbnails and titles with video content ### 🎁 Benefits o
