What They're Looking For.

Must Have

High School Diploma or equivalent plus One (1) year experience with seriously emotionally disturbed children, or Two (2) years’ experience with seriously emotionally disturbed adults., BAS Degree

What You'll Do.

providing direct care to meet the physical and psychosocial needs of the adolescents through direct and indirect physical and verbal interaction

Provide day-to-day supervision

ensure safety and care for children individually

while in school and in groups

Promote and assist adolescents with self-help skills in the areas of eating

handling individual problems and other activities

Models and supports positive youth development and positive behavioral self-management through praise

and use of behavioral incentive system

Encourages adolescents’ interaction and socialization with other peers

providing feedback to adolescents on appropriate behavior

Participate in Pro-Act crisis intervention as required

Note children’s progress in daily progress notes
