Full Job Description
**Our vision is to transform how the world uses information to enrich life for _all_. ** Micron Technology is a world leader in innovating memory and storage solutions that accelerate the transformation of information into intelligence, inspiring the world to learn, communicate and advance faster than ever. Identify and characterize new yield issues by tracking probe yields and trends, and explain gaps between target and actual yields. Carry out advanced data analysis and characterization to quantify issues, producing an accurate yield pareto to assist the fab in identifying yield-limiting problems. Employ statistical approaches and data exploration methods to detect root causes and possibilities for improvement. Work closely with the Failure Analysis (FA) team, including Electrical Failure Analysis (EFA) and Physical Failure Analysis (PFA). Correlate electrical signals with probe signatures and data-mining insights. Deliver a comprehensive view to process teams for effective issue resolution. Collaborate with module and inline monitoring teams to guarantee timely implementation and tracking of yield fixes, offering clear handoffs and alignment to promote balanced improvements. Propose new ideas and work together with the global network to develop recognized approaches and ensure consistency across sites. Apply semiconductor process knowledge, defect inspection, metrology, and process control fundamentals. Qualifications Proven experience in semiconductor manufacturing and yield engineering. Strong analytical abilities with the capacity to conduct advanced data examination and characterization. Proficiency in statistical tools and data-mining techniques. Ability to work cooperatively with cross-functional groups, including FA, module, and inline monitoring teams. Outstanding problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
