**_Job Title_** Yard Driver ** _Job Overview_** The Yard Driver is primarily responsible for maintaining a neat and orderly lot oriented toward maximizing efficiency in servicing the company needs. The Yard Driver will also be responsible for completing local deliveries as needed. Other responsibilities include: * Operate Yard Truck to maneuver and park large, oversized loads. * Responsible for accounting for records involving container numbers. * Must function and interact daily with distribution center personnel and comply with safety requirements. * Communicate using cellular telephone or 2-way radio with dispatch, operations, and personnel. * Move trailers in and out of bays, inspect new deliveries and provide support where needed. * Maintain a safe work environment and practice safe work habits per company policies. * Wear and proper use of personal protective equipment. * Maintain compliance with ELD, vehicle condition reports, and all other aspects of DOT compliance.
