We are seeking a detail-oriented and efficient Workshop Technician to join our team in Edmonton, Canada. In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining, repairing, and troubleshooting a variety of equipment and machinery. You will work in a fast-paced workshop environment, ensuring all equipment operates at peak performance while adhering to strict safety and quality standards. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong technical expertise, organizational skills, and a commitment to precision and excellence. * Perform routine maintenance, repairs, and troubleshooting on mechanical and electrical workshop equipment * Diagnose equipment issues using analytical problem-solving techniques and implement corrective actions promptly * Operate, calibrate, and test equipment to ensure accuracy, quality, and compliance with specifications * Maintain detailed maintenance records and documentation of repairs, performance, and testing results * Organize tools, parts inventory, and work areas to support efficiency, cleanliness, and safety * Follow safety protocols and collaborate with team members to prioritize work orders and meet deadlines ## Qualifications Experience Requirements: * Trade certificate or technical diploma – can be through education and experience working with live electrical equipment. Formal electrical training highly preferred * 3-5 years of related experience in industrial maintenance/automation/flow control * Able to read and understand electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic schematics * Actuation, instrumentation, and valve experience is preferred; detailed knowledge of actuators, especially Rotork, is an asset * Proven experience in equipment maintenance, repair, or troubleshooting in a workshop or manufacturing environment * Proficiency with hand tools, power tools, and diagnostic equipment * Working knowledge of Microsoft Office The Sucessful Candidate: * Strong mechanical aptitude and understanding of mechanical systems * Knowledge of safety prot
