## ## **Overview & Responsibilities** We are seeking a highly analytical and proactive **Workshop Engineer (Turbomachinery)** to join our growing operations at the **KEZAD Free Zone facility in Abu Dhabi**. This role is a cornerstone of our technical team, responsible for the engineering integrity and successful execution of complex projects involving steam turbines, centrifugal compressors, and pumps. As a Workshop Engineer, you will independently lead technical projects from conception to completion, ensuring they are delivered within budget and schedule. You will bridge the gap between high-level engineering theory and shop-floor execution, providing the technical expertise necessary to improve product systems, innovate new processes, and maintain our competitive edge in the turbomachinery industry. ## ## **Job Responsibilities** The Workshop Engineer carries a broad mandate covering project management, advanced technical analysis, and cross-functional leadership. **Project Management & Execution** * **Project Oversight:** Independently plan, budget, schedule, and direct the execution of technical projects, major applications, and tests. * **Objective Alignment:** Ensure all projects meet established objectives within allocated time, cost, and resource constraints. * **Systems Improvement:** Complete designated analytical, experimental, and application programs aimed at product/systems improvement, development, and cost reduction. * **Documentation:** Expand and improve design information procedures and practices, issuing all applicable technical documentation. **Technical Analysis & Design Approval** * **Design Control:** Review and approve design layouts and associated manufacturing drawings for all assigned projects and shop orders. * **Complex Calculations:** Perform advanced calculations using both analytical and computer-based methods (including **finite-element analysis (FEA)** and **solids modeling**). * **Programming & Modeling:** Utilize and/or develop
