Full Job Description
We are looking for a full-time Workplace Manager to oversee Ring’s HQ real estate portfolio and facility management. This role will also offer remote space planning and facilities support for three additional west coast locations. Candidate is a key contributor to the site operations and will sometimes travel between domestic locations. This role combines real estate/construction management, portfolio strategy, project management skills, onsite engagement strategy, and team leadership including vendor team management. The successful candidate must operate as a trusted advisor to business leaders, and partner to Finance, HR, IT, and other functional areas. The ideal candidate is an experienced, vibrant, and engaging professional who is customer obsessed and will excel within an entrepreneurial culture – they have an ownership mentality, providing expertise, vision, leadership, exceptional communication skills, and have a vision for delivering a great work environment for the team. Key job responsibilities • Drive strategy and direction for facility management & workplace innovation framework to ensure consistency across functional teams – Site operations consistent with regional program guidelines and vision; think regionally, execute locally • Enhance the domestic workplace experience by driving efforts to manage and facilitate Amazon’s growth and commitment to flexibility, office programs, and team culture • Ensure all departments support a positive work environment for the team • Conceptualize large-scale space planning and project management, own plan for commercial real estate optimization, and manage contracts for vendors/services related to facilities management • Develop long and short-range maintenance plans/programs (e.g. emergency response plans, energy management plans, environmental health and safety plans, business continuity, etc.) in accordance with Amazon’s security and safety policies • Mentor, develop, and coach a to strengthen their leadership and
