Must Have
Currently enrolled in a B. Sc. or M. Sc. program in Chemical Engineering, Process Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a closely related field, Demonstrated mechanical aptitude, Familiarity with fluid mechanics, Basic P&ID drafting, Understanding of standard hazard evaluation processes, Basic understanding of chemical/process engineering fundamentals, Ability to read and understand technical drawings (P&IDs)
Nice to Have
Prior experience operating, building, or maintaining a laboratory setup or pilot plant, Background knowledge or high passion for Direct Air Capture (DAC) or carbon removal technologies, Previous experience dealing with suppliers and component procurement

Executing the planned maintenance backlog, managing liquid levels, pulling process samples, and documenting operational parameters. - Executing mechanical adjustments and retrofits with hand tools. Assisting the Operations Engineer in troubleshooting anomalies. - Project management for unit upgrades. Reviewing and updating P&IDs, conducting hazard and safety evaluations, and communicating with suppliers to procure new components. Your targets are your North Star.
