Nice to Have
Initial hands-on experience in IT support, hardware setup, or system administration, Knowledge of Windows-based environments and common IT tools is an advantage
What You'll Do.

Full Job Description
**OVERVIEW** We are currently seeking a Working Student IT Service* to strengthen our IT department for 10 - 20 hours per week. You will work in Tübingen (Germany) in an interdisciplinary environment with colleagues from Germany and the US and will contribute to our mission of delivering novel PRAME immunotherapies to patients with cancer. **YOUR MISSION** Your main responsibilities will include but are not limited to the following tasks: * **Hardware and End User Support:** Setting up laptops, workstations, smartphones, and tablets for end-users and labs. Swapping out broken equipment, getting meeting rooms sorted, and ordering hardware by sending product links and quantities to Facilities for purchase. * **Employee Lifecycle Support:** Processing offboarding tasks when employees leave – collecting equipment, disabling accounts, and closing out access. Handling absence-related changes or adjusting access when someone goes on extended leave, and getting users back up and running when they return from absence. * **Device Lifecycle:** Preparing new hardware before it goes to a user. Collecting and wiping returned devices for redeployment. Keeping a clear and up-to-date picture of what equipment we have, where it sits, and who is using it. * **Asset Tracking:** Updating records whenever a device is deployed, returned, or reassigned. Keeping our systems in sync so our inventory is accurate, and labeling physical assets to match what is in the system. **YOUR PROFILE** You are currently enrolled in a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering or a related field. Ideally, you have gained initial hands-on experience in IT support, hardware setup, or system administration, but this is not mandatory. Knowledge of Windows-based environments and common IT tools is an advantage.
