What They're Looking For.
Must Have
3-5+ years of hands-on Workday Financials configuration and support experience, Deep working knowledge of one or more Workday Financial Management modules, Demonstrated ability to support day-to-day Finance operations while simultaneously contributing to project-based work and strategic initiatives, stakeholder management skills, Experience conducting business requirements gathering, gap analysis, and writing functional design documents, Solid understanding of core finance and accounting concepts (GAAP, month-end close, AP/AR workflows, expense management), Highly organized, with the ability to manage multiple open requests and projects simultaneously, Collaborative approach to problem-solving, sufficient knowledge of English
Nice to Have
Workday Pro certification in Financial Management, Experience supporting Workday in a publicly traded company with SOX compliance requirements, Familiarity with Workday Adaptive Planning, Exposure to Workday Prism Analytics or Workday Reporting, Experience with NetSuite, RevPro, Blackline, or other Finance-adjacent applications, Prior experience supporting a Finance team through a Workday optimization or module expansion project

Full Job Description
The opportunity Unity is seeking a Workday Finance Business Analyst to join our Enterprise Systems team, embedded as a key partner to the Finance organization. In this role, you will own the day-to-day configuration, support, and continuous improvement of Workday Financials, serving as the primary point of escalation for Finance team requests while also driving the delivery of strategic system initiatives that support Unity's broader business priorities. This is a dual-impact role: you will be equally at home resolving a configuration issue in the morning and contributing to a cross-functional system enhancement project in the afternoon. You are someone who builds deep trust with Finance stakeholders, communicates technical solutions clearly to non-technical audiences, and takes pride in the reliability and quality of the systems you support. What you'll be doing Serve as the primary Workday Financials administrator and day-to-day support contact for the Finance team, triaging and resolving configuration issues, user requests, and system inquiries with a high degree of responsiveness and quality Diagnose and resolve Workday Financials configuration issues across modules, including Financial Accounting, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Expenses, Procurement, and/or Banking & Settlement Partner with Finance stakeholders to gather, document, and translate business requirements into functional design specifications and Workday configuration solutions Support and deliver enhancements, new feature rollouts, and process improvements in Workday Financials, from requirements through testing and change management Participate in Workday semi-annual release cycles — reviewing release notes, assessing functional impact, coordinating user acceptance testing, and managing deployment Maintain accurate and up-to-date system documentation, including configuration guides, business process flows, and training materials Collaborate with the broader Enterprise Systems team on cross
