What You'll Do.
Coordinate and oversee Work Integrated Learning programs
Manage placement requirements
Ensure compliance with course requirements and institutional policy
and facilitate employability and career development
Provide timely and consistent support to students
Monitor student participation and progression
Escalate issues where appropriate
Liaise between Student Experience team
Maintain effective relationships with placement providers
Coordinate employer engagement activities
Maintain accurate records across systems
and report on placement data
Support broader Student Experience initiatives
Undertake other duties as required

Navitas Careers & Industry Division, which specialises in niche colleges offering higher education, VET, professional development, and employability skills, is proud to be a part of this exciting new venture. With a global network of over 25,000 students and 1,800 staff, Navitas brings a wealth of experience and expertise to the partnership. The Work-Integrated Learning (WIL) and Career Coordinator plays a key role in supporting student success by overseeing the delivery of WIL programs, employability workshops, and career development services across the campus. The position serves as the central point of coordination between students, academic staff, and industry partners, ensuring that work-integrated learning experiences are well organised, compliant, and aligned with course requirements and learning outcomes. The Coordinator is responsible for managing the end-to-end student placement process, from pre-placement preparation and documentation through to monitoring participation and reporting on outcomes. The role also includes designing and facilitating workshops that build students’ professional readiness and career capability. A significant component of the role involves maintaining effective relationships with placement providers and internal teams, coordinating employer engagement activities, and ensuring students receive consistent and equitable support throughout their WIL and career development journey. As a member of the Student Experience team, the Coordinator contributes to broader campus initiatives and adapts to evolving student, academic, and operational needs.
