Must Have
4-6 years of proven experience in WordPress development, Proven experience designing websites for WordPress implementation using brand guidelines and copy direction, Proven experience as a WordPress Developer or similar role managing multiple websites, Proficiency in HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and PHP, knowledge of WordPress architecture, themes (Divi, Elementor), plugins, and APIs, Familiarity with front-end libraries/frameworks (e. g. , Bootstrap, Tailwinds, jQuery), Experience with responsive design and mobile optimization, Understanding of SEO principles and best practices, Ability to work with design tools (e. g. , Adobe Photoshop, Sketch) to extract assets and implement designs accurately, problem-solving skills, attention to detail, Excellent English communication and collaboration skills
Nice to Have
Experience with design software like Figma, or AD is helpful, Graphic design background helpful including expertise in digital media and/or fine arts, Experience with version control systems (e. g. , Git) is desirable

Modify and adapt existing themes/plugins as needed. * Front-End Development: Implement responsive and visually consistent designs using HTML, CSS, and JavaScript to ensure cross-device and cross-browser compatibility. * Back-End Development: Set up and configure WordPress installations, databases, and server environments. Integrate third-party APIs and services as required. * Content Management: Manage content updates, additions, and modifications on WordPress websites. Ensure content is presented effectively and follows best practices for SEO. * Performance Optimization: Refine website speed, mobile responsiveness, and site architecture. Integrate structured data, canonical URLs, and secure HTTPS to amplify crawling, indexing, and user experiences, bolstering technical SEO. * Security and Maintenance: Implement security measures to safeguard websites from vulnerabilities and potential threats.
