More than 5 years of WordPress development experience, technical leadership experience, Modern WordPress expertise - the block editor and block themes, Experience with enterprise-level projects, Experience in architecting large-scale solutions according to technical requirements, Ability to maintain a high-level view of projects, Curious and keeping up-to-date with the latest changes in the ecosystem, Possess a wide range of technical experience, Expertise in performance optimization techniques, Knowledge of security best practices in web application development, Proven experience working with clients, stakeholders, and internal teams on pre-sales scoping and project estimation, Ability to prepare and conduct technical workshops, Ability to prioritize, multitask, and work on different projects concurrently, Ability to train technical and non-technical teams on solutions, Ability to create and present reports, Can do PHP development, Experience with advising and managing teams of developers and designers, Available during Montreal working hours, Use tools such as Slack, Have exceptional self-management and proactive communication skills
Nice to Have
Experience in Drupal development is a bonus, Experience in defining and leading quality assurance processes, including automated testing strategies and test-driven development (TDD), is a plus

Be our in-house technical expert! Evolving Web has an opening for a WordPress Architect. You'll work closely with our developers, designers, project managers and clients to create beautiful and quality websites and apps that improve organizations and communities. Evolving Web specializes in creating accessible, high-impact web design and development solutions that help organizations connect with their audiences effectively. You'll work closely with our development team of around 40 people, alongside designers, project managers, and clients, to create beautiful and quality websites and apps that improve organizations and communities. If you have 5+ years of WordPress development, as well as experience as a technical leader, and want to join a rapidly growing team, we want to hear from you! **Here’s what we will expect from you on a day-to-day basis** * Work with a team of developers, designers, and project managers * Scope and architect technical solutions with internal and client teams * Create documentation for internal use, as well as for clients, such as technical specifications and scope documents * Advise and manage teams to produce measurable results * Take ownership of project success, including meeting requirements, timelines and budgets (with project managers) **Requirements** **What kind of skill set do you need to be successful in your role within the Evolving community?** * More than 5 years of WordPress development experience, as well as technical leadership experience * Modern WordPress expertise - the block editor and block themes.
