Traveling to customer sites (ability to travel 50%-75% local and nationwide, both by car and airplane). Make necessary travel arrangements and changes as required. Conducting wireless site surveys and completing site analysis. Manage time and schedule during onsite activities. Keep project management personnel informed of progress and potential issues, during and after onsite activities. Authoring site survey reports, and other required documents. Maintain supplied network test equipment; ensuring working order to complete engagements as assigned. Ability to understand diverse wireless network platforms. Ability to understand customer business requirements and tailor a wireless solution to meet their needs. Working knowledge of enterprise-class networking equipment and products, including Cisco routers, switches, access points, and wireless controller hardware. Proficient skills working with Microsoft Word and Excel. Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to build and maintain meaningful professional relationships. Polished business communications skills, both oral and written. Outgoing and friendly personality with a customer-focused attitude. Strong attention to detail, initiative, and sense of urgency. Excellent organizational and time management skills. A good methodical approach to tasks, ability, and interest to learn new technologies. Self-motivated, able to meet deadlines and maintain quality of work under pressure. Comfortable working at heights up to 40 ft. Handy, familiarity with hand tools.
