Must Have
Bachelor's degree or equivalent, 3+ years of EHS experience, 2+ years of increasing responsibilities in EHS, Experience managing multiple direct reports, Experience implementing lean principles, Experience in safety, environmental, or equivalent field, 3+ years of distribution or manufacturing field experience, Equivalent mechanical or electrical field experience
Nice to Have
Master's degree or equivalent, Fulfillment Center or Manufacturing Safety experience, Experience in a fast paced, changing/growing organization, Government Certified Safety Professional
What You'll Do.
Partner with site operations team
Execute company safety policies
Ensure compliance to regulations
Lead continuous improvement initiatives
Reduce conditional risk
Reduce ergonomic risk
Build trust and confidence
Provide risk assessments
Provide safety data analysis
Instruct and train Operations Leaders
Assist site teams in incorporating safety standards
Identify best practices
Incorporate best practices into standards
Lead safety team members
Create leadership development plans
Communicate safety team expectations
Give feedback to safety teams
Ensure execution to core competencies
Support assigned site(s)
Coordinate implementation of WHS procedures
Assist in implementation of WHS programs
Partner with site stakeholders
Drive compliance with WHS standards
Coach associates on WHS requirements
Tackle day to day risks
Identify compliance risks
Escalate compliance risks
Complete routine inspections
Create actions in Austin
Act as proxy for WHS Manager
Fulfill assigned tasks
Adhere to scheduled shift
