Must Have
Bachelor's degree in safety, environmental, or equivalent, 2+ years industrial maintenance experience
Nice to Have
Experience in safety and/or environmental programs, Master's degree or equivalent, Experience working in a fast-paced, rapidly changing operations environment, 1+ years team management, Budget responsibilities experience, Supplier management experience, Problem solving experience, Client/customer relations experience, Experience in written and verbal communication skills, Experience driving direction and alignment with cross-functional teams, Experience that includes analytical skills, Attention to detail, Effective communication abilities, Experience in technical support, Managing workload even during times of stress
What You'll Do.
Partner with site operations team
Execute company safety policies
Ensure compliance to regulations
Lead continuous improvement initiatives
Reduce conditional risk
Reduce ergonomic risk
Ensure a safe working environment
Build trust and confidence with Operations Team
Influence change through risk assessments
Influence change through safety data analysis
and consistent messages
Instruct and train Operations Leaders
Assist site teams in incorporating safety standards
Identify best practices
Incorporate best practices into standards
Continuously improve company safety policies
Possess safety program knowledge
Possess safety knowledge
Possess environmental knowledge
Possess ergonomic knowledge
Demonstrate expertise when working with Operations
Lead safety team members
Create leadership development plans
Execute leadership development plans
Communicate safety team expectations
Give frequent feedback to safety teams
Ensure teams are executing to core competencies
