Must Have
Bachelor's degree or equivalent, Work a flexible schedule/shift/work area, Experience with increasing responsibilities in safety and/or environmental programs, 2+ years of customer-facing environment, warehousing, logistics or manufacturing experience
Nice to Have
Master's degree in Health and Safety or a related field, 2+ years of supply chain experience, Experience in stakeholder management
What You'll Do.
Partner with site operations team
Execute Amazon safety policies
Ensure compliance to regulations
Lead continuous improvement initiatives
Reduce conditional risk
Reduce ergonomic risk
Build trust and confidence
Provide risk assessments
Provide safety data analysis
Instruct and train Operations Leaders
Assist site teams in incorporating safety standards
Identify best practices
Incorporate best practices into standards
Create leadership development plans
Communicate safety team expectations
Give feedback to safety teams
Ensure execution to core competencies
Support assigned site(s)
Coordinate implementation of WHS procedures
Assist in implementation of WHS programs
Drive compliance with WHS standards
Drive compliance with WHS procedures
Coach associates on WHS requirements
Partner on tackling day to day risks
Identify compliance risks
Escalate compliance risks
Complete routine inspections
Create actions where findings identified
Act as proxy for WHS Manager
Fulfill assigned tasks
Adhere to scheduled shift
