Bachelor's degree or equivalent, 1+ years of performance metrics experience, 1+ years of process improvement experience, 1+ years of lean techniques experience, 2+ years of experience in manufacturing, 2+ years of experience in production, 2+ years of experience in service operations, Experience with safety programs, Experience with environmental programs, Work a flexible schedule/shift/work area
Nice to Have
Master's degree in Health and Safety, 2+ years of supply chain experience, Experience in people management, Experience in stakeholder management
What You'll Do.
Partner with site operations team
Execute Amazon safety policies
Ensure compliance to regulations
Lead continuous improvement initiatives
Reduce conditional risk
Reduce ergonomic risk
Build trust with Operations Team
Influence change through risk assessments
Influence change through safety data analysis
Instruct Operations Leaders in safety policies
Train Operations Leaders in safety policies
Assist site teams in incorporating safety standards
Identify best practices
Incorporate best practices into standards
Create leadership development plans
Communicate safety team expectations
Give feedback to safety teams
Ensure teams execute core competencies
Support assigned site(s)
Coordinate implementation of WHS procedures
Assist implementation of WHS programs
Drive compliance with WHS standards
Drive compliance with WHS procedures
Drive compliance with local laws
Coach associates on WHS requirements
Partner on tackling day to day risks
Identify compliance risks
Escalate compliance risks
Complete routine inspections
Create actions from findings
Act as proxy for WHS Manager
Fulfill assigned tasks
Adhere to scheduled shift
