What You'll Do.
Receive job assignments from the supervisor or job assignment book.
Read and understand operating procedures
engineering change notices (ECNs)
and quality specifications.
Operate and set up Tocco's and balancers
including cup presses
and washer operations.
Hang wheels onto the automated paint system and prepare them for priming and top coating.
Demask and unload determine and use proper tooling and masking.
Operate automated lift/tilt tables and HMI screens for part numbers
and NADCAP data collection.
Maintain and troubleshoot robotic paint systems
including fluid delivery components like regulators
Assess paint quality according to requirements.
Complete wheel assembly tasks including hardware installation
and touch-up painting.
Conduct in-process inspections and ensure traceability through proper documentation (e.g.
Prepare wheels for inspection
perform riveter operations
and labeling for shipment.
Manually prime and paint
mix paint to specified viscosity
and maintain manual spray guns and pots.
Fill out NADCAP data forms and label documentation.
Maintain a clean and safe work environment
address quality concerns immediately.
Retrieve items from the tool crib and complete necessary forms/transactions.
