ABOUT ENDURANCE Endurance is building the world's first modular subsea geothermal power plants, converting vast thermal resources under the ocean into gigawatts of baseload power. WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING As a welder at Endurance Energy, you’ll work alongside engineers to develop welding processes, fabricate novel heat exchanger designs, and develop repeatable manufacturing processes. You’ll gain hands-on experience with GTAW and handheld laser welding of stainless steel, nickel alloys, and titanium while helping us manufacture the world’s first subsea geothermal power plant. Additionally, you will support rapid prototyping and the first of a kind manufacturing efforts required to deliver subsea infrastructure in a fast-paced environment. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES - TIG welding of Inconel, stainless steel, and titanium - HHLBW (handheld laser welding) of Inconel, stainless steel, and titanium - Fit, tack, and weld heat exchangers that transfer 100-1000s of kW of power - Weld thick-walled process piping for extreme high-pressure systems - Collaborated with engineers on welding procedure qualification - Perform hands-on machining, fabrication, and modifications to support rapid prototyping and test readiness - Follow safety procedures in a welding and fabrication shop, ensuring shop is compliant and safe - Document assembly steps, test procedures, and observations for engineering review - Collaborate with engineers to troubleshoot fit up and welding issues - Maintain a clean and organized fabrication shop QUALIFICATIONS - 3+ years of professional expe
