This position requires precision, technical expertise, and a strong commitment to safety and quality standards. This role supports production and assembly operations by performing a variety of welding processes to ensure products meet engineering and production specifications. This role is ideal for individuals who take pride in craftsmanship, thrive in a hands-on manufacturing environment, and enjoy problem-solving through technical skill and teamwork. **What You’ll Do** * Weld components in flat, vertical, and overhead positions * Lay out, position, align, and secure parts and assemblies using measuring tools and fixtures * Examine workpieces and verify conformance to specifications using precision measuring devices * Weld a variety of metals and alloys including aluminum, stainless steel, and cast iron * Clamp, tack, and grind parts to achieve required configurations prior to final welding * Determine appropriate equipment and welding methods based on technical drawings and material properties * Monitor welding processes to prevent overheating, warping, or distortion of parts * Operate manual and semi-automatic welding equipment including MIG, TIG, and arc welding systems * Read and interpret blueprints, work orders, and specifications
