What They're Looking For.
Must Have
Three years related experience, Proficient in blueprint reading except geometric tolerancing, Fully proficient with FCAW and SMAW, Able to set parameters to optimize the operation of the process(s), Able to produce high quality welds, Capable of operating gas cutting and air arc gouging process on all but the most challenging applications, Able to weld using larger wire sizes in many situations, Able to operate jib cranes and forklifts to facilitate positioning of weldments, Able to make roll and positioner set ups and assembly of simple, smaller weldments on same

Set up components for welding
Optimize welding process parameters
Produce high quality welds
Grind parts as needed
Operate air arc gouging
Weld using larger wire sizes
