Through our robust product engineering, outstanding tooling capabilities and diverse process expertise, we continue to bring lightweight and innovative products to market. **Job Responsibilities:** **_POSITION SUMMARY:_** The Welding Technician will be responsible for installation of welding equipment from a single standalone welder to multiple robotic welding systems. Successful candidates will possess capability of identifying and making corrections and suggestions to improve overall weld quality as well as have demonstrated experience with good troubleshooting. Promoting good communication in all departments to ensure a quality product is essential. _**PAY RATE:**_**$ 33 to $45 CAD** ** _QUALIFICATIONS:_** * Engineering Degree * Minimum Two (2) years ‘experience welding environment * Knowledge of welding processes, resistance welding and arc welding * Experience with welding parameters, robotic welding systems knowledge * Proficiency using Microsoft Office, Excel and AutoCAD * Ability to work as a team member and individually * Excellent verbal and written communication skills required * Excellent interpersonal and organizational skills required ** _DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:_** * Work with design house and weld gun manufacturers at initial stages of program * Monitor and approve all weld gun designs
