Ability to read, write, speak, and understand English at a level sufficient to safely and effectively perform job duties, including following work instructions, safety procedures, and company communications., Must be able to pass and maintain industrial truck and aerial platform licenses, Successful completion of the Weld Technician course, 1-year minimum working as a Weld Operator, 2-year minimum experience with automated welding applications, Ability to locate and troubleshoot the root cause of read and interpret job element and navigate teach pendant or flex pendant., Ability to manually manipulate a robot or external axes, Ability to use hand tools properly, Ability to lift/move material weighing up to 50 pounds, Understanding of the weld processes, Reliability regarding performance and attendance, Adhere to all safety rules of the plant – including PPE requirements, Steel toe boots and hard hats are required on site.

Nice to Have

2-year technical degree preferred, Experience with ABB and Fanuc robots preferred

What You'll Do.

Provide production support by performing setup

troubleshooting and operations of automated welding cells within the production facility

implementing best practices

proactively assess welding/robotic applications

Observes and complies with all safety

and statutory requirements associated with this job description

Follow all safety procedures and protocols while servicing or maintaining equipment

Perform weld tip/cap changes and weld gun maintenance

Perform change over process of stationary welders

Perform preventative maintenance on fixtures and cells including proper lubrication of components

Able to run Red Rabbit process and troubleshoot issues if a failure occurs

Basic understanding of weld fixture adjustment process

Understanding of types/uses/replacement and setup of common sensors

Basic welding technology troubleshooting

Basic knowledge of dispense systems

Nut feeder operational understanding and when needed adjustment

Touching up of robotic programmed points within a program
