Eligibility Requirements

1st Shift / 6 AM - 4 PM M-F position, Occasionally, may require you to arrive early, stay late, or work on weekends

What They're Looking For.

Must Have

Bachelor of Science in Welding Engineering, equivalent understanding of resistance welding and arc welding principals and standards, mechanical engineering, 1-3 years’ experience in a welding manufacturing environment, Welding experience in RSW, GMAW and DAW on a variety of low carbon and high strength steels, Robotic welding experience, Destructive testing experience (setting up the process and training others) for RSW, DAW and GMAW

Nice to Have

automotive experience, ABB and Fanuc preferred, 5+ year’s RSW, GMAW and DAW experience in welding manufacturing in the automotive industry, Developing and troubleshooting GMAW and RSW on different grades of steel and aluminum, Experience setting up and training with Tessonics RSWA devices or other UT devices, Training inexperienced people with destructive and nondestructive testing methods, Developing and writing work instructions as they pertain to different welding and inspection operations, MS office proficiency

Define welding spare parts

Develop weld parameter sheets

Support new line launch

Implement and test products

Drive standardization

Develop training documentation

Troubleshoot welding issues

Develop welding schedules

Participate in design reviews

Interface with vendors

Interface with customers
