What You'll Achieve.
ensure food buying across the organization is tracked and managed efficiently; guarantee timely and accurate shipment of every box; ensuring the right product is at the right place at the right time while considering cost targets, contracted suppliers, quantity needed and logistical parameters.; ensure timely deliveries and inventories match demand requirements to guarantee punctual deliveries and maintain inventory levels that align with production schedule.
Industry & Context.
Resolve any unforeseen problems with suppliers relating to operations, purchasing or quality/performance quickly and professionally.; able to identify and addressing issues as they arise
Weekend role (Friday - Monday schedule), may be exposed to common allergens (i. e. peanuts, tree nuts, milk, etc.), minimum of 2 days in office per week
What They're Looking For.
Must Have
3-5 years of procurement and/or sourcing experience, working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite, specifically MS Excel, Bachelor’s degree

What You'll Do.
Own purchasing and inventory management activities for a variety of food or packaging Stock Keeping Units (SKUs)
Manage key weekly operations processes including placing POs
managing production issues
analyzing data and managing inventory and capacity levels.
Collaborate and own relationships with various HelloFresh distribution centers
and suppliers to ensure timely deliveries and inventories match demand requirements
Holding suppliers accountable to on-time delivery and excellent quality
Resolve any unforeseen problems with suppliers relating to operations
purchasing or quality/performance quickly and professionally.
Lead and facilitate team meetings with the warehouse and procurement teams to ensure their readiness for success each weekend.
Drive and project manage cross-functional continuous improvement initiatives by recommending and testing new processes and implementing positive change.
Support your teammates to ensure that no boxes are missed and no ingredients are subbed due to procurement issues.
How You'll Work.
Team & Collaboration
Collaborate closely with all distribution centers to guarantee timely and accurate shipment of every box.; Collaborate and own relationships with various HelloFresh distribution centers, warehouse locations, and suppliers; Collaborate closely with HelloFresh distribution centers and suppliers.; Lead and facilitate team meetings with the warehouse and procurement teams; Work with a team of internal high-achievers to continue building, growing, and improving on our offsite production capabilities.; Support your teammates
