What They're Looking For.
Must Have
1 year of experience in network construction and/or fiber installation, repairing fiber, twisted-pair, and coaxial copper cabling networks., 1 year of experience pulling, terminating, and testing twisted-pair copper cabling and fiber optics in residential and commercial environments., Experience troubleshooting Ethernet network connectivity issues related to routers, switches, Centralized Logic Controllers (CLCs), modems, and nodes., A valid driver's license with a satisfactory driving record that meets company standards.
Nice to Have
Experience with rack and stack work, assembling server racks, telecom closet work, and patch panels., Ability to terminate fiber optic cable using a variety of experience using fusion splicers., Attention to detail., Proven advanced troubleshooting and problem-solving/repair skills for communication networks., Excellent communication skills.
What You'll Do.
