Nice to Have
Completed coursework in Fluid Mechanics, Hydrology, or Hydraulics is highly preferred., Familiarity with AutoCAD/Civil3D and ArcGIS., Exposure to H&H software such as HEC-RAS, HEC-HMS, or SWMM is a plus., technical writing and verbal communication skills., Must be dependable, detail-oriented, and able to work collaboratively in a team environment.
What You'll Do.
Assist in hydrologic and hydraulic (H&H) modeling and analysis for storm drainage issues
Support the preparation of construction drawings and specifications for stormwater facilities
Green Infrastructure (GI)
and Low Impact Development (LID) projects.
Occasionally support field investigations
including stormwater infrastructure inspections (MS4)
illicit discharge detection
and stream assessments.
Utilize ArcGIS for mapping
and watershed characterization.
Assist in the production of client deliverables
including technical memoranda
environmental permit applications
and engineering cost estimates.
Conduct background research on regulatory requirements (CWA
MS4) and emerging water management technologies.
