About the Role AWS is seeking a results-oriented individual to join the Water Infrastructure Team. In this role, you will execute water-based cooling infrastructure projects in the US East region, working with internal teams—including real estate, engineering, construction, commissioning, and operations—as well as external partners such as engineering consultants, general contractors, water treatment vendors, and local utilities. You will drive feasibility, design, and delivery of infrastructure projects that meet regulatory standards and a high bar for operational efficiency, reliability, and safety at the lowest possible cost. You will manage the delivery of multiple concurrent projects, monitor operational efficiency metrics, and build system resiliency for handoff to regional operations teams. You will also serve as the central point of contact for all matters related to water and wastewater treatment and disinfection systems, and for maintaining productive relationships with utility partners.
