Satisfactory Enhanced DBS check, Good understanding of hot and cold-water systems, Full Driving License, valid in the UK, Computer literate, Good organisational skills, Working knowledge of current Health and Safety practice

First aid at work trained, Trade background or building knowledge, NVQ Level 2 in Plumbing
What You'll Do.
Deliver water hygiene program
Take water temperatures
Assist cleaning systems
Assist disinfecting systems
Complete tasks within SLAs
Perform routine water hygiene monitoring
Inspect tank insulation
Inspect pipework insulation
Perform shower cleans
Perform disinfections
Flush expansion vessels
Check TMV temperatures
Perform basic building inspections
Perform operational checks
Test emergency lights
Test fire extinguishers
Perform weekly fire alarm testing
Ensure task completion is safe
Ensure task completion is legally compliant
Follow risk assessments
Follow method statements
Liaise with customers daily
Complete tasks causing minimal disruption
Support other business areas
Keep up with current regulations
Check paperwork regularly
Update tasks as required

With tasks varying from taking water samples and temperatures to assisting cleaning and disinfecting systems. The Water Hygiene Technician will ensure high standards of task completion, paperwork and regulations are met at all times. The role will require mobile working from our customer sites across Yorkshire, Lincolnshire and the North East. Company vehicle is included within this role, tablet, tools and phone will be provided. **Key Responsibilities:** * Planned and reactive maintenance as required. Responding to all allocated task requests ensuring jobs are completed within allocated service level agreements * Routine water hygiene monitoring * Tank and pipework insulation inspections * Sampling (when required) * Shower clean and disinfections * Flushing of expansion vessels (when required) * TMV maintenance including cleans, temperature checks and replacement * Basic building Inspections/operational checks to include (emergency lights, fire extinguishers and weekly fire alarm testing) * Health & Safety duties; ensuring that the task is completed in a safe and
