**POSITION SUMMARY:** Ensures that pumps, conveyors, blowers, chlorinators, vacuum equipment and other wastewater treatment are operational at all times. **PRINCIPLE RESPONSIBILITIES:** * Maintains and operates hazardous waste disposal injection well and assigned equipment. * Reports equipment malfunctions promptly. * Records daily system readings and inspections of pump leachate. * Performs weed trimming and grass cutting around facility and associated systems. * Collects and processes storm water samples as needed. * Enters data into excel spreadsheets and maintains system records. * Keeps records of equipment maintenance and repairs * Receipt, handling, recovery, disposal and recycling of hazardous waste. * Keeps logs and records of waste received and shipped off-site. * Performs other related duties as assigned. **PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:** * Knowledge of the operation and maintenance of water and wastewater facilities. * Knowledge of wastewater treatment processes and electrical and hydraulic support systems. * Knowledge of collection systems, including pump stations and regulator stations. * Knowledge of mechanical and electrical theory, cross connections and pumps. * Demonstrates, accuracy, thoroughness and attention to detail. * Must be able to prioritize, stay focused and handle multiple, diverse responsibilities. * A valid driver’s license, with a clean driving record, may be required for some positions. * Some positions may require Waste Water Treatment Operator certification. **Rewarding Compensation and Benefits** Eligible employees can elect to participate in: • Comprehensive medical benefits coverage, dental plans and vision coverage. • Health care and dependent care spending accounts. • Short- and long-term disability. • Life insurance and accidental death & dismemberment insurance. • Employee and Family Assistance Program (EAP). • Employee discount programs. • Retirement plan with a generous company match. • Employee Stock Purchase Plan (ESPP). • P
