JOB SUMMARY: We are seeking a hands-on Warehouse Team Leader to support the setup and day-to-day operations of a new warehouse facility. This role will act as the first-line leader for warehouse operatives and forklift drivers, ensuring efficient shift execution across inbound, storage and outbound activities. The Team Leader will play a critical role in establishing operational standards, driving productivity, and maintaining a strong health and safety culture in a fast-paced PPE environment. The successful candidate will combine strong people leadership with a hands-on approach, actively supporting warehouse tasks when required. Working closely with the Warehouse Shift Manager and Operations Manager, this role will be key to building a high-performing team in a growing operation. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES: Lead and coordinate warehouse activities for the assigned shift, including goods-in, order picking, packing, replenishment, and dispatch. Supervise, motivate, and support the team to achieve shift targets and operational KPIs. Allocate workloads effectively to meet productivity and accuracy standards. Ensure compliance with health & safety policies, hygiene regulations, and PPE handling procedures at all times. Conduct shift briefings and debriefs to communicate priorities, updates, and safety reminders. Monitor team performance and address issues such as absenteeism, performance gaps, or training needs.
