What They're Looking For.
Must Have
1-3 years of previous supervisory experience required, Ability to work with and maintain effective working relationships with other departments in the company, Effective communication skills (oral and written), Competent in performing basic mathematical calculations, computer skills, with the ability to work in Windows-based systems, Ability to work in a fast paced environment and meet established deadlines, Available to work extended hours, especially during peak seasons
Nice to Have
preferably in a warehouse or distribution center environment
What You'll Do.
Direct and oversee warehouse operations
Supervise warehouse specialists
Support Receiving Supervisor in managing freight schedule
Schedule warehouse personnel for proper manning
Ensure productive and cost-efficient shipping and receiving
Direct day-to-day warehouse activities
Manage warehouse as it pertains to Storage Buy transactions
Manage receiving errors and staging of products
Maintain warehouse equipment
Provide preventive maintenance programs
Communicate necessary repairs to CEM and/or Operations Manager
Ensure warehouse personnel have safe
Manage warehouse safety programs
Provide a safe and clean workplace
Ensure associates are trained and following SOPs
Manage progressive disciplinary process
Handle general employee inquiries and solve problems
Complete necessary Activity Reports for management
Monitor flow of paperwork from Receiving to Inventory Control
Resolve discrepancies with shipping
Execute Storage Buy Audit COP
Ensure products are staged for counting and inspection
Ensure products are stored properly
Conserve space and comply with safety procedures
Oversee rotation of inventories within warehouse
Perform other related duties as directed
