Work within a demanding environment, which includes noise from alarms, machinery, and people, Stand, stoop, kneel, sit, crawl and walk for extended periods of time, Lift and carry cartons, materials and wooden pallets at a minimum of 25 pounds, Push and pull loaded carts, pallet jacks and strollers, Use arms, hands, fingers and body to transport cartons, materials and wooden pallets, Use of senses to include hearing, talking, touching, feeling and vision, Seeing clearly in both near and reasonable distances, Working inside and outside of a warehousing and distribution facility, Working inside and outside of trailers and containers, Working around moving objects and vehicles, Working around electrical or battery driven packaging machines and conveyors with moving parts, Exposure to dampness, humidity, wet or uneven surfaces and ambient temperatures, Use various manual material handling devices to include forklifts, dollies, and pallet jacks, Working in dark trailers, aisles or walkways until proper lighting is employed, Available for overtime, holidays and weekends
What They're Looking For.
Must Have
High school diploma or GED required, Minimum five years’ experience concentrated in a distribution center environment with an international third-party logistics company previous team leader and training experience, Working knowledge of various warehouse tools and equipment required, Basic proficiency in operating a warehouse hand-held device, Forklift certification required, Experience with Warehouse Management Systems, basic inventory control, and domestic transportation documentation, Ability to read and comprehend instructions, standard operating procedures and customer requirements, and safety policies and procedures in English, Ability to read, comprehend and complete basic checklists, forms or other related documents typically found in a warehouse environment, Basic math skills including addition, subtraction, multiplication and division and knowledge of calculator use, Ability to input data into a relational database is required
Nice to Have
Two to three years of team lead experience in a warehouse and distribution center environment preferred, Bilingual (English/Spanish) skills a plus

Executing policies and procedures to manage warehouse operations
Ensuring operational processes meet customer needs and internal requirements
Maintaining a structured
and safe warehouse environment
Heading equipment maintenance and safety programs
Tracking and forwarding issues related to assets
Staying abreast of customer scopes of work and elevating scope creep
Maintaining knowledge of proper equipment operation
Maintaining knowledge of WMS functions
Providing accurate recording and retention of inventory
Overseeing inventory control activities
Maintaining and reviewing records for accuracy and compliance
Tracing history of SKUs to determine reasons for discrepancies
Assigning duties and examining employees' work
Preparing composite reports
Reviewing productivity
Implementing and evaluating SOP execution
Meeting year over year growth targets and daily SLA goals
Maintaining harmony and equity among workers
Supporting recruitment and interview process
Managing warehouse staff
Tracking and cataloging customer level labor and space utilized
Developing and maintaining efficient workflows
daily manpower plans and schedules
Attending or conducting daily operational kickoff and manpower planning meetings
Performing other duties as assigned
