What You'll Do.
Oversee daily tasks of staff
Monitor staff performance
Provide feedback to General Manager
Perform routine inventory cycle counts
Maintain accurate inventory records
Monitor and research custom orders
Follow procedural practices
Participate in routine inventory counts
Manage incoming orders
Manage outgoing orders
Manage will-call orders
Oversee order picking
Oversee order fulfillment
Ensure accuracy of orders
Ensure warehouse equipment is well-maintained
Ensure warehouse equipment is in working order
Ensure inspections are complete
Address day-to-day challenges
Ensure safety procedures are followed
Test and inspect emergency equipment
Maintain company policies on warehouse security
Ensure non-personnel do not gain access
Ensure materials are properly stored
Ensure workspace is free of clutter
Ensure vendor paperwork is correctly stored
Ensure no hazards are in racks
Ensure no hazards are in aisles
Ensure no hazards are on floors
Remove shipping debris
Ensure floors are swept
Ensure tools are returned to proper locations
Ensure operating supplies are returned to proper locations
Ensure daily will-call orders are handled with care
Dispatch team members to jobsites
Deliver materials to installation sites
