Must Have
2 years of industry specific qualification, Effective interpersonal skills, Pro-active, organizational skills, Good computer skills, Fluent in English, Able to twist, stoop, squat, reach above shoulder level and crouch on a frequent basis, Able to use proper lifting techniques, Ability to follow directions with emphasis on safety, Able to handle stress caused in meeting deadlines with tight scheduling requirements, Able to shift priorities easily, Able to use hands and feet simultaneously and for repetitive movements
Nice to Have
Fork-lift certification will be required within 3 months of employment
What You'll Do.
Receive products accurately
Load shipments accurately
Store products accurately
Execute shipment orders
Understand contingency plan responsibility
Work required shift pattern
Execute computer system updates
Compare product count to manifest
Check shipments for damage
Check shipments for shortage
Check shipments for overage
Check shipments for discrepancies
Report shortages on appropriate forms
Report damages on appropriate forms
Report discrepancies on appropriate forms
Unload inbound shipments safely
Move product to assigned storage locations
Put away items onto racks
Put away items onto locations
Put away items onto ready rows
Ensure correct number of product handled
Ensure correct type of product handled
Transport orders to shipping locations
Transport orders to assigned doors
Review markings on cargo
Review address on cargo
Ensure correct reference labels are on cargo
Compare quantity with order
Compare labeling with order
Compare address with order
Ensure outgoing shipments are complete
Ensure outgoing shipments are correct
Sign necessary documents
Move product into outbound delivery vehicles
Ensure warehouse areas are neat
