What They're Looking For.
Must Have
3 to 5 years of experience in managing 5 or more employees, Must be able to safely operate all warehouse equipment, Must be able to operate a forklift and center rider pallet jack, Excellent written, verbal and oral presentation skills, Ability to plan, organize, implement, and follow through on projects, Ability to perform well under pressure and short deadlines, Critical Thinking, Ability to communicate with all levels of management internally and externally, Adaptability/Flexibility
Nice to Have
Two (2) years’ experience in warehouse shipping and handling, Experience WMS AS 400, Inventory Management experience
What You'll Do.
Organize warehouse operations
Schedule warehouse staff
Direct warehouse activities
Ensure warehouse safety
Maintain order accuracy
Achieve productivity levels
Oversee facility maintenance
Coordinate warehouse activities
Retrain staff as needed
Uphold Employee Handbook policies
Approve payroll accurately and timely
Manage warehouse overtime
Communicate inventory status issues
Communicate receiving issues
Communicate shipping issues
Communicate warehouse slotting issues
Manage shift productivity
Manage department productivity
Convey maintenance of warehouse equipment
Perform warehouse jobs
Fill in when necessary
Implement warehouse safety programs
Provide safe and clean workplace
Comply with OSHA regulations
Recommend equipment requirements
Recommend equipment replacement
Maintain warehouse productivity
Maintain warehouse efficiency
Maintain inventory in Power Warehouse
Replenish slots from Full case
Replenish slots from newly arrived stock
Monitor Watchlist customer orders
Check Watchlist customer orders
Fill Shorts from Short sheets
Correct Mis-Pick orders
Ensure nightly pick progresses
Supervise Order Selectors
Use riding pallet jack
Maintain Vocollect accountability
Assign Vocollect units
Guide worker through pick orders
Place orders on pallets
Maximize product care
Consider organic goods
Consider frozen goods
Ensure safe transport
Stage completed pallets
Maintain warehouse in clean condition
Maintain equipment in clean condition
Ensure no product left on floor
