What They're Looking For.
Must Have
Demonstrated ability to lead, develop, and hold accountable a team including supervisors, hourly associates, and independent contractors. 3+ years of people leadership experience. Experience managing to operational metrics and using performance data. Experience managing labor planning, scheduling, and workforce allocation. Prior experience working with independent contractor or 1099 driver relationships. Ability to work independently, make sound decisions quickly, and manage site operations without direct oversight. Clear and concise written and verbal communication skills. Comfortable navigating multiple operational platforms. Passionate about service excellence and operational rigor. Must be able to lift 50+ pounds and stand or walk for the duration of a shift in a non-climate-controlled warehouse environment. Valid driver's clean driving record.
Nice to Have
Bachelor's degree in Business, Logistics, Supply Chain, or a related field. Experience in last-mile delivery, logistics, or a high-growth startup. Experience with independent contractor or 1099 driver relationships in a last-mile, gig, or delivery network. Familiarity with Lean, Kaizen, continuous improvement, or process standardization methodologies.
