What They're Looking For.
Must Have
5+ years’ experience in distribution management leading 20+ employees in a large distribution/warehouse environment, leadership experience in managing and developing a team, mentoring, coaching, training, and performance management, Ability to work with people and build an environment that is positive and engaging for the associates, Phenomenal interactive communication skills with ability to effectively communicate to different levels of the organization, computer skills to include expertise in Excel, Word, Power Point, and Outlook, Proficient in OSHA and DOT regulations
Nice to Have
Experience managing a team of delivery drivers is a plus, Material Handling Equipment Certification
What You'll Do.
Provide strategic leadership for warehouses
and affect vision for growth and improvement
Promote and drive safety daily in the workplace
Increase and maintain high levels of associate engagement throughout the operation
Provide consistent communication to associates and counterparts
Drive high levels of quality in customer shipments
Maintain and develop a productive warehouse by hiring
and providing professional development for all associates
Lead and oversee associates performing activities including unloading and stocking of inbound shipments
shipping of outbound orders and cycle counting
Ensure high levels of cleanliness are maintained in our sites
Confirm that cycle counts are completed daily and accurately
Maintain security of warehouse and safety of all associates and equipment
Reporting any accidents and conveying any issues to management
