What They're Looking For.

Must Have

minimum of five (5) years supervisory experience within the warehouse distribution industry, equivalent of 8 years supervisory experience in the warehouse distribution industry, understanding of FDA and OSHA compliance requirements, understanding of company policies, understanding of all national and state regulations, ability to enforce them, Proven ability to build and maintain effective relationships, communicate with executive leadership, staff, customers and vendors, Prior experience forecasting and managing operating budgets, communicating variance, Previous experience with developing and adhering to department metrics, ability to effectively work in a fast-paced environment, handling multiple concurrent priorities

Responsible for OSHA compliance and safety

Provide industry-leading quality service

Drive efficiencies and cost reductions within the department

Implement policies and procedures

Manage the warehouse staff

Manage warehouse supervisors

Indirectly manage warehouse colleagues

Direct supervisors in managing the warehouse

Assure efficient receiving and loading schedule

Satisfy customer delivery needs

Ensure lowest total distribution cost per case

Develop and implement policies and procedures

Increase efficiencies of the department

Meet or exceed customer expectations

Result in high customer service ratings

and train warehouse supervisors

Support and encourage an open-door policy

Ensure open lines of communication with colleagues

Respond to colleague issues or questions
