Eligibility Requirements

Continuous standing/walking, Frequent push, pull, squat, bend and reach, Continuous lifting of 20 lbs, Frequent lifting of 25-40 lbs, Occasional lifting of 50 lbs or more, Frequent stacking of pallets and totes (20-50 lbs) up to 6 feet fall, Frequent lifting above the shoulders, Frequent picking and packing of bags of coffee up to 3 lbs, Available to work Irregular hours, Work weekends, nights, overtime, holidays

What They're Looking For.

Must Have

18 years old, Ability to read and follow written instructions accurately in English, Must be willing and able to work overtime as required, even on short notice, Ability to prioritize and manage time efficiently, Attention to detail & accuracy is required, Must have or be able to be powered industrial truck (forklift / electric pallet jack) certified, Demonstrated adherence to Peet’s standards, policies, and procedures, Demonstrated ability to multitask and prioritize, Demonstrated excellent communication and coaching skills

Nice to Have

Warehouse Management (WMS) & RFID Scan gun experience preferred, Bilingual Spanish/English a plus

What You'll Do.

Maintain a safe work environment

Ensure Behavior Observation Completion

Ensure safety incidents are reported

Report safety incidents using electronic system

Manage employee time management

Manage employee work performance coaching

Conduct annual performance reviews

Train associates to achieve operational goals

Coach associates to achieve service levels

Listen to employee concerns

Escalate issues to supervisor

Create a positive team environment

Encourage associates to provide insights

Recognize good team performance

Ensure consistent application of reward & recognition program

Monitor and evaluate key performance indicators

Get team buy-in on measures

Provide feedback to the team

Ensure hourly performance tracking is completed

Ensure team is on track to hit volume

Escalate issues preventing target achievement

Review staffing for appropriate coverage

Adjust staffing based on volume

Lead projects that drive continuous improvement

Ensure CIL/5S/GMP Standards are observed

Ensure regular cleaning tasks are performed

Document cleaning tasks per standard

Be a positive change agent

Ensure completion of Quality Behavior Observations

Hold team accountable to Quality/GMP standards

Understand GL production schedule

Work with Production Coordinator to address issues

Communicate with Peets.com customer support team

Follow FIFO to avoid aging product

Avoid backlog of unfulfilled orders

Communicate with distribution supervisor regarding Associate’s performance

Escalate UPS/USPS issues to ERP Team

Ensure team follows proper inventory control best practices

Ensure DTC clerk manages weekly cycle count plan

Ensure DTC clerk manages aging product disposition

Ensure DTC clerk is replenishing operating supplies
