Must Have
Bachelor's degree in engineering or construction, 10 to 15 years of experience in oil industry, Significant experience in Construction, Fluent in English

Previous experience under SIMOPS works, Arabic language proficiency
What You'll Do.
Support and enforce project guidelines
Enforce HSE Rules and Company Specifications
Attend HSE meetings and training
Initiate and/or Participate in Job Safety Analysis
Stop dangerous situations
Report anomalies and dangerous acts
Conduct toolbox talks
Enforce safe work practices
Lead and coordinate warehouse and material management
Follow up and ensure Contractor carries out works
Ensure adherence to project specifications
Review and validate construction methods
Ensure proper execution of works
Check procedures and task sheets
or control risk analyses
Help in preparation / check work permits
Resolve technical issues on-site
Manage subcontractors
Ensure proper allocation of manpower and equipment
Optimize and follow up work schedules
Check good organization of logistics
Control material deliveries
Verify conformity with project requirements
Anticipate all potential problems
Propose alternative practical solutions
Organise Pre-commissioning activities
Formalize handover dossier to Field Operations

Full Job Description
Our client is a global multi-energy company operating large-scale refining and petrochemical facilities. It transforms crude oil into fuels and essential industrial products through highly integrated and technologically advanced operations. The organisation is recognized for its strong HSE culture, operational excellence, and commitment to reducing environmental impact. Joining the company means contributing to complex international projects within a high-performance industrial environment. Total Energies signed major agreements covering several projects in the Basra region, designed to enhance the development of Iraq’s natural resources and to improve the country’s electricity supply. EGE project is part of the Iraq Gas Growth Integrated Projects (GGIP) deal signed in September 2021 with the objective to develop multi energies projects. After a proposal to reinject the AGUP ph1 associated gas, it has been decided end of 2023 to valorize the HP associated gas and to build an early gas treatment facility (EGEP). It is a fast-track project. The main challenges are: • Image/reputation of TotalEnergies in Iraq to succeed to start this EGE project (+ AGUP Ph1 + Solar Project) in 2025. Pressure placed by Iraqi government (Prime Minister + Minister of Oil) on TotalEnergies, and pressure placed on projects by TotalEnergies management. • Efficiency of installation in order to ensure the gas treatment and the reduction of flaring which is very important for the Iraqi government. • Costs: 300 M$ CAPEX+OPEX • Planning. Very challenging planning with ultra fast-track development (Detailed Engineering/Execution). • Management of authorities and interfaces.
