What They're Looking For.
Must Have
No experience required, Must have a valid driver's license, Must be at least 21 years of age, Must pass a pre-employment and annual review of their Motor Vehicle Record, Must obtain verification of non-expired medical certificate as required by law within 60 days of hire, Must not have had a suspended drivers’ license for a traffic accident/violation within the past 3 years, Must not have any at fault accidents in the past 3 years
Nice to Have
Prior warehouse experience a plus, Certification to operate forklift, hand truck, pallet jack, and other warehouse equipment preferred, High School or GED - Preferred, General knowledge of electrical products a plus
What You'll Do.
Contribute to a culture and environment focused daily
Follow established Standard Operating Procedures
Follow Environmental Health and Safety Rules
Address safety concerns
Verify the quantity and description of materials received
Check merchandise against the packing list
Keep incoming orders stocked on shelves orderly
Stock in designated area
Report freight damage claims
Prepare branch orders from the warehouse
Ensure that the correct number and type of
Process paperwork regarding shipments
Verify that the merchandise to be shipped is
Apply the correct postage tape and label
Follow customer shipping instructions
Insure the shipment when necessary
Load common carrier and company vehicles
Perform minor maintenance on equipment
Perform inventory counts
Reconcile any discrepancies
Make deliveries to branches/customers
Perform other job functions within a branch
Perform counter sales
Perform customer support
