Handle basic issues and problems
Ability to work overtime, Physical lifting up to 50 pounds, Exposure to high noise level, Exposure to heat and cold, Exposure to electrical shock, Handles potentially dangerous equipment, Travel to offsite locations
What They're Looking For.
Must Have
Competently perform all essential duties, Demonstrate commitment to effective customer service, Demonstrate integrity, Ability to work productively as a member of a team, Valid driver's license, At least 21 years of age, Pass a pre-employment and annual review of their Motor Vehicle Record, Obtain verification of non-expired medical certificate, Not have had a suspended drivers’ license for a traffic accident/violation within the past 3 years, Not have any at fault accidents in the past 3 years
Nice to Have
Prior warehouse experience a plus, Certification to operate forklift, Certification to operate hand truck, Certification to operate pallet jack, Certification to operate other warehouse equipment preferred, High School or GED, General knowledge of electrical products a plus
What You'll Do.
Contribute to a culture and environment focused daily
Follow established Standard Operating Procedures
Follow Environmental Health and Safety Rules
Address safety concerns
Verify quantity and description of materials received
Keep incoming orders stocked on shelves orderly
Stock in designated area
Report freight damage claims
Prepare branch orders from the warehouse
Ensure correct number and type of product is
Process paperwork regarding shipments
Verify merchandise to be shipped is correct
Apply correct postage tape and label
Follow customer shipping instructions
Insure the shipment when necessary
Load common carrier and company vehicles
Perform minor maintenance on equipment
Perform inventory counts
Reconcile any discrepancies
Make deliveries to branches/customers
Assist with other warehouse or branch duties
Perform other duties as assigned
