What They're Looking For.
Must Have
No experience required, Must have a valid driver's license, Must be at least 21 years of age, Must pass a pre-employment and annual review of the Motor Vehicle Record, Must obtain verification of non-expired medical certificate as required by law within 60 days of hire, Must not have had a suspended driver's license for a traffic accident/violation within the past 3 years, Must not have any at fault accidents in the past 3 years
Nice to Have
Prior warehouse experience a plus, Certification to operate forklift, hand truck, pallet jack, and other warehouse equipment preferred, High School or GED - Preferred, General knowledge of electrical products a plus
What You'll Do.
Contribute to a culture focused on employee safety
Follow established Standard Operating Procedures
Address safety concerns
Verify quantity and description of materials received
Stock incoming orders
Report freight damage claims
Prepare branch orders
Ensure correct product is shipped
Process paperwork regarding shipments
Verify merchandise to be shipped
Apply correct postage tape and label
Follow customer shipping instructions
Load common carrier and company vehicles
Perform minor maintenance on equipment
Perform inventory counts
Reconcile discrepancies
Assist with other warehouse duties
Assist with branch duties
Make deliveries to branches
Make deliveries to customers
Perform other duties as assigned
