What They're Looking For.
Must Have
No experience required, Ability to perform basic mathematical calculations, Ability to organize and prioritize job tasks, Ability to meet deadlines, Ability to work overtime as needed, Basic computer knowledge
Nice to Have
Prior warehouse experience a plus, Certification to operate forklift, hand truck, pallet jack, and other warehouse equipment preferred, General knowledge of electrical products a plus
What You'll Do.
Contribute to a culture focused on employee safety
Follow established Standard Operating Procedures
Address safety concerns
Verify quantity and description of materials
Stock incoming orders
Report freight damage claims
Prepare branch orders
Ensure correct product is shipped
Process paperwork regarding shipments
Apply correct postage tape and label
Follow customer shipping instructions
Load common carrier and company vehicles
Perform minor maintenance on equipment
Perform inventory counts
Reconcile discrepancies
Perform other job functions
Provide counter sales
Provide customer support
