Prior warehouse experience a plus, Certification to operate forklift, Certification to operate hand truck, Certification to operate pallet jack, Certification to operate other warehouse equipment preferred, General knowledge of electrical products a plus
What You'll Do.
Contribute to a culture and environment focused daily
Follow established Standard Operating Procedures
Follow Environmental Health and Safety Rules
Immediately address safety concerns
Receive material coming into the building
Verify the quantity and description of materials received
Keep incoming orders stocked on shelves orderly
Keep incoming orders stocked in designated area
Report freight damage claims
Prepare branch orders from the warehouse
Ensure that the correct number and type of
Process paperwork regarding shipments
Verify that the merchandise to be shipped is
Apply the correct postage tape and label
Follow customer shipping instructions
Insure the shipment when necessary
Load common carrier and company vehicles
Perform minor maintenance on equipment
Perform inventory counts
Reconcile any discrepancies
Assist with other warehouse duties
Assist with other branch duties
Perform other duties as assigned
