High school diploma or GED, Ability to perform repetitive heavy lifting, Able to communicate both verbally and in writing, Basic mathematical skills, Ability to weigh and measure items, Working knowledge of safe lifting methods, Demonstrated ability to operate material handling equipment including forklift truck, Able to work efficiently as a part of a team as well as independently, Attention to detail in all areas of work, Good organizational and time management skills, Work ethic and positive team attitude
Nice to Have
Forklift certification preferred, Working experience in Shipping and Receiving role preferred
What You'll Do.
Prepare receiving dock
Prepare materials for shipment
Match incoming and outgoing product
Operate forklift in safe manner
Maintain safe and clean work environment
Assist with scheduling freight appointments
Lift and carry heavy materials
Load and unload deliveries
Sort and distribute incoming shipments
Perform quality audits of shipped goods
Report discrepancies to supervisor
Follow current standards and procedures
Maintain organized work area
Perform other duties as assigned
